This has perhaps been the most exciting month of our deputation. So many incredible things have been happening in the past month. Since the beginning of our deputation, we have looked ahead with the goal of making it to Brazil as quickly as possible, yet unsure as to how soon that could possibly be. Now, as of this month, we can see the end of our deputation journey! WE HAVE PURCHASED OUR TICKETS FOR OUR FLIGHTS TO BRAZIL!!! What we have been traveling and working for these 14 months is finally coming to completion. We will be flying directly into Caxias do Sul, Brazil on January 24^th of 2023! We praise the Lord for all of His provision and protection during our travels.

With great blessing also came great work (and it reminded me of the verse, “unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required.” Luke 12:48) For the first time, we were doubled booked. We spent the first Sunday morning of the month in a church in Ennis, TX, and the evening service at another church in Flower Mound, TX. We enjoyed the blessings and fellowship of each church. The following Saturday, we enjoyed a family day camp at a church in Fort Worth. It was a great experience for us with preaching, presenting, and spending time with the members of the church. The next day, we were in Frisco, TX with a church for their Sunday morning service. And the following Wednesday, we had yet another meeting in Abilene, TX. By this time, we truly felt like we were running all across Texas. Sunday came with another meeting in Cleburne, TX. And then, surprisingly (sarcasm fully intended), no one scheduled us for a meeting for thanksgiving week. After Thanksgiving, we visited another church for their Sunday Morning Service in Haltom City, TX. I believe this was the most meetings in a row that we have had within a month.

As the month started with thrilling news, it also ended with thrilling news! When we purchased our tickets, we contacted the Brazilian Consulate and scheduled our meeting for November 30^th. We are happy to announce that we have successfully OBTAINED MY VISA. Also, the complications with Joneia’s passport got sorted out this month, and we now have her valid Brazilian Passport as well! Everything is in line for us to leave for Brazil on January 24^th! It really is one of the most exciting times of our lives. We ended the month with one more meeting in Houston, TX and had a lovely time.

God has been so good to us beyond anything we had ever imagined. Our support continues to come in, and we are at over 80% support. We have faith we will be at full support by the time we get to the field. Be praying for us as we come to the end of our deputation that we will have everything packed and prepared for moving. We feel like we have hit the Senioritis phase of deputation, and wish we could go straight to Brazil tomorrow! But, we never want to be any less energetic, enthusiastic, and refreshing to any of our churches that we have yet to visit. Be praying for God to continue to renew His Spirit in us for every meeting. And rejoice with us about what wonderful things God has done for us and blessed us with in this last month.
