The Missions Trip of January 2026

We were “all-hands-on-deck” preparing for a missions trip group this last month! One of the Yelle’s supporting churches came down with a group of 7 people to visit and work with us in our ministry for 10 days. This is the first missions trip we have ever hosted here! We were excited for the opportunity. It was a lot of preparation, a lot of running, and a lot of work! But it was a very successful missions trip. We handed out about 5000 tracts in a week, and we pray that we will see some fruit from this labor. This group also helped us prepare our property for Teen Camp this next week. They were very helpful, and it was a blessing to have them visit.

Our ministry continues to grow! And this last month, I had the privilege of preforming my first baptism! Because we had the missions group with us, we decided to make a bigger event out of it. John Yelle and I baptized 5 people! Since it was my first baptism, I was a little nervous trying to quote the verses correctly in Portuguese! But the Lord helped me, and I remembered every word I needed to say.

I personally Baptized a teenager named Adriano. He showed up at our church one day and had questions about the Bible and was hungryIMG 7405 for answers from God’s word. Like me he was brought up in a church of a different denomination, and he wasn’t satisfied with their answers based on tradition and opinion. He wanted answers from God’s word. For the past few months, he has been faithful to our church and has been asking all the right questions. He submits himself to God’s word, which is the right answer! He understood that he had not been scripturally baptized and wanted to resolve that problem. We are excited for Adriano and look forward to what God has in store for him. Be praying for him as he continues to seek and pursue the Lord.

Please pray for us as we have Teen Camp this next week. We wore ourselves out with the missions trip group, so we would love your prayers for God’s strength and wisdom as we prepare for what hopefully will be a life-changing camp.

Another blessing of January, we arrived here in Brazil 3 years ago! Life has been moving so fast, I almost had forgotten completely. We arrived here in Caxias do Sul on January 25th of 2023. Our church family threw us a small party to celebrate. God has already done so much with us here in 3 years, and we are excited for what God will do with us in the years to come.

Thank you for your prayers!
