The Easy Month of March

Compared to January and February, March was easier. Church is going well. Our Teen Sunday School with the teens has been packed out! I’m using the opportunity with Teen Sunday School to stretch my Portuguese a little farther, and it is encouraging to see how far I have come. I am not just reading my notes, but I am teaching while only using my notes as a reference. I thank the Lord for how far I have come in my Portuguese. During the rest of the month of March, we prepared for Easter. Our teens put on a small skit to help illustrate salvation and what Jesus did for us. Our teens are really growing, and we are encouraged by how much they want to be at church, serve, and learn. Keep praying for them! God is doing something big!

That’s it… This month was relatively slow. In our busy lives, a bit of routine is nice. We took a much-needed vacation to the beach the first week of March with the Yelles, and we had a wonderful time of rest. We’ve finished the structure of our new stables too! This was the first step of our Camp Building Projects, and we are now able to start working on the next phase. We will tear down the old, dilapidated stables and build new buildings and facilities in their place.

Keep praying for us! We’ve had some sickness going around our church, as well as some other recent health complications. Overall, we are healthy, and we keep moving forward with the work here. Pray for our church to keep growing. We are in the right trajectory for a strong church. God is good, and He is doing something here.

Thank you for your care and prayers for us! God bless you.
